I was like... wth... so this is the drink... then on the way back to my work place... my co-worker all stare at the drink i am holding and ask me what was that.. so funny la.... Tomorrow is the count down party... if i am not wrong... American club is doing a Masquerade Party... cannot wait... HIaz... but tomrrow still got work... 2007 is going to be gone so soon... Recapping back... this year was quite a year... with the change in environment going into poly... and working... all so new to me... i will never forget the robbery that i witness this year at watson during my working time at Hang Ten... all the people that i meet at the American club and Hang Ten... i do miss the times that i work in Hang Ten... all the in charge and worker...like... I will miss those people... so many memories... happy times now that i think about it... hope 2008 will be much much better and fun.... ::CheRyL::
Yesterday... I was working in the same shift as Namira's friend, Mishel (i think this is how to spell her name)... It was kinda busy... especially with the buddy i had... had no idea why i need to have a buddy (a buddy is like your babysitter at work, to teach and guide you) again??? hey, i didn't have a buddy for the last 2 day... but suddenly i had one again... and i sort of hated him... so bossy... worst of all is that i cannot understand a word he say... haiz... dunno why was i put to service station all of a sudden... I dun even know how to take orders la... and he made me learn... so stressful... but luckily i had mishel on my shift as we can chit chat awhile..wahaha... i got in touch with alcoholic drinks again... as usual... kinda feel like a beer waitress... i am serving more drinks than food... anyway... i got in touch with this drink called SUMBUCCA... I had totally no idea how it look like until yesterday... My Co-worker Alex asked me to take it for him at the Union Bar... The Union Bar like a place where people go drinking at the club... SO i knew where it was and so he asked me to go take the SumBucca from the staff there... The story goes like this:
Alex: Cheryl, you know where is the Union Bar?
Me: Erm... i think so... upstairs right...
Alex: Ya. Can you go there and take the Sumbucca from there?
Me: Erm... OK I'll try...
So i ran upstairs the club as the bar was above my work place... i went into the Union Bar and saw one of the staff there... so i approach him. His name is Michael.
Me: Erm... one customer ordered a drink... erm... called Sumbucca...
Michael: Sumbucca... OK... what shot? On the rock or clean?
Me: erm.... i have no idea... he just say sumbucca...
Michael: which member? The name?
Me: erm.... i have no idea too...
Michael: who ask you come and take the drink?
Me: Eh... Alex... ya Alex...
Michael: OK... call Alex and ask him what shot...
Me: He says Clean shot...
Michael: OK... I'll make now..
He began making the drink... the drink is like in a glass... it is only filled like 2 sips of the liqueur and 3 coffee beans is being added... then he stopped there... i was waiting for him to continue...
Michael: there... done
Me: erm... that's it?
Michael: Ya...
Cheryl: ohhhhh.... so this is sumbucca... ok thanks...
